There is never a dull moment with a toddler in the house.
Connor generally loves to sleep till the last minute on school days and is up at the crack of dawn on weekends. I’m convinced he can smell its a Saturday or Sunday!Haha.
Anyway, this morning was slightly different – he was up early, so I got him dressed and ready for school first and then went through to the kitchen to pack lunch etc. He was happily playing and looking at his books in the lounge and then I saw him go back to the bedroom. I was just about finished with the lunch when I realised its gotten awfully quiet (silence defintely means they are up to no good). I went to check on him in the room and found him happily have an oero breakfast!!! (Bear in mind he eats breakfast at school)
He somehow managed to take it off the counter while I wasnt looking and sneaked off to have a feast. I couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
I then went to finish up in bathroom, only to come out and find him with his juice bottle for school – pretty much finished the whole thing 🙈 Which he had taken out of his bag – that was on the kitchen counter!!??
So I washed his face and brushed his teeth and off we went to school.
This evening i put his dinner on the table and we prayed together and then I turned to go finish dishing up my dinner. By the time I got the the table he had packed some of his dinner in his lunchbox. Haha…. clearly he wants leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
And the look on his face! He was so chuffed with himself.
Tonight, with his dinner, I mixed the spinach and mash together and he wasn’t interested in it at all. Refusing point blank. So after a quick negotiating scene, I got him to try it. Needless to say he ate all of his and half of mine!
I love my little funny bunny…. he always knows how to make my day (even when he is driving me nuts)
